All of our weavers offer a smooth touch in every knot, which brings more beauty to the rugs they make. They are very skilled in this form of art. It has been passed from one generation to another bringing their skills closer and closer to perfection. For the most part, all of our female spinners belong to the Terai region and are basically housewives. They use spinning as a means of showing their love and passion in the artwork they make and also as a supplementary income to help support their families. All hand knotted Tibetan Rugs are created with deep respect, passion and love. Great care is given in selecting the highest quality wool, dyes and most important is the skill of the local women who weaves these rugs by hand. Rug weaving is a very important part in the life of a woman. It is used as a way of expressing their feelings and emotions.
