We manufacture all kind of banana fiber Rugs. We can manufacture banana fiber rugs in 45 to 200 knots in preferred designs and sizes. We manufacture in 100% banana fiber or a mixture of wool silk and banana fibers. Actually banana fiber is the fiber of banana tree trunk which is harvested and cut into small sections so that it can undergo a softening process. The raw material is then processed by machine to extract the fibrous material. Once the raw fibers are separated, they are bleached to give a more uniform color. After this process, they are dried and packed for shipment to the rug manufacturer. We dye these fibers in the preferred color and spun into yarn to start weaving a rug. The unique part of banana fiber is it sine more then silk but when it weaves into rug it becomes loose, casual feel that is not as refined as silk. The weights of these fibers are more then silk and wool. Banana fiber rugs are not recommended at heavy shoe traffic area though it have the durability same as the hemp and nettle rugs.
